I don't like Doubting Chris...where did that come from? It's several hundred km to New Madrid...and the Reelfoot Rift does not extend this way. The mascot of my daughter's new High school is a scary-looking baby...it is a kewpie because Kewpie dolls were invented here. The most prominent geologic feature here is karst.....dissolving limestone=sinkholes and caves. If part of the town, it will make buying a house a little challenging....but have to sell the old one first.
