Hi Dennis. Petra and I watched a documentary about the City of Alexandra a couple of months ago. In the documentary they talked about some other cities that were found and they would soon be exploring these. Anyway what they discovered made them realize that they were going to have to rethink the whole Mediterranean region again as it was first thought there were no faults in that area that could produce a quake large enough to cause a city to sink. There were also those who felt that the Nile and change course and in doing so flood the city. Most of the evidence seen did indicate a major quake with the possibility of a tsunami finishing if off. Written records also indicate that the area was struck by a major earthquake more then once over a 500 year period. Take Care…Don in creepy town.
