I did get a qoute from State Farm which matches what you posted there. I had not seen the calculator as yet. Many people down here don't even carry EQ insurance. If I stayed at this house I would not get it. House was constructed in 1926, is cross beam, (not on slab) and has seen many quakes with no inherent damage. Lots of give in these older houses. The 1968 Borrego mountain quake did crack a lot of chimneys in the area where I am moving. At 6.5 Mw, this would give me a better basis for insurance purpose. If SAF over in Coachella banged out an 8+, I will be living in a motor home anyway. Not sure how well set the CEA is for a quake that size.
