Thanks for the link Canie, I read every single quake. Indeed decade by decade there is some regularity. However it all seems to be in the desert outside of LA and San Diego, nothing but Northridge was centered in LA. It all seems contradictory, scientists always saying the crust of the LA basin is like a fractured mirror in relation to fault lines, yet there is hardly any activity the whole century within the basin, so one would think it could be safer than most areas of CA. I guess time will tell.
