Hi Roger and David - This thread got me to thinking about a combination of the seismic gap theory, mogi's Donut and High quake probabilities - I was wondering if you could determine the locations of high probablility like David said and then couple that somehow with something along the lines of seismic gap and mogi's donut where there is a place that normally experiences a high number/size of quakes but is currently not active (or nothing recent) - to comeup with areas of high probability for a quake being due.... Then again, it seems to be more along the lines of something the USGS might do - a large quake in the next 30 years... But it might be an interesting way to identify those areas objectively. Sorry - just wondering aloud again.
