Whales in SF Bay

Hi All,

Today's news revealed there were two whales inside of San Francisco Bay down near the Dumbarton Bridge. (Fremont to Foster City)

As most of us know, whales often get their tracking devices mixed up before earthquakes. A few weeks before Loma Prieta, we had Humphrey the Humpback Whale. He came in through the Golden Gate and headed up to the Sacramento Delta. It took a major effort to get him back where he belonged, but he went.

On the weather side of things, we had traditional "near spring earthquake weather tonight." So what is that? Its much warmer than it has been in the evening for months and no sign of a breeze anywhere. Personally, I love it. I put in some OT in the garden tonight and was wishing the rainy season was over.

From North of The Golden Gate, absent of whales...Petra
