Discovery Channel/NYC Earthquake show

Did anyone by chance catch Discovery Channel's earthquake in NYC show last night at 10pm? It was really good and informative. If you didn't see it, the show describes in detail how the NYC area is laced with faults, several of which run right in the middle of Manhatten. The city has known about these faults for over 100 years from when it built water and subway lines. Scientists say that NY on average is hit with a 4-5 range quake every 100 to 200 years and a 6-7 quake every 10,000 years.

The show goes on to explain how most New Yorkers are totally in denial that any size quake will ever hit their city. Even w/ a magnitude 5+ devastation would be massive. Of course the show looks at what would happen w/ a 7 quake. A 7 quake in NY would make a 7 under LA or SF look like nothing. It was very alarming. Made me take some comfort living in CA knowing that should a major one hit, although as scary and as much damage as it will cause, its better than living in NY.
