Re: Biggie; Could be |
Your right. Too bad that they didn't put an estimated magnitude for that fault on that page. The crust out here is a bit thicker then in other areas of Southern California due to buckeling so it should be able to generate a tad larger magnitude quake then in other areas of Southern California. I've been watching the Bakersfield radar loop and for the last 3 hours it seems that the rain coming in has been staying NW of a line going from Ventura to Bakersfield to Bishop. So here is another thing that I'm watching to see is if the rain keeps north of my watch area until after the quake. At least I hope it stays north of here until after 6PM due to our first little league baseball practice today at 4:30 where I'm one of the coaches. Its going to be darn cold though. :-( Dennis Follow Ups: ● Another in Canyon Country - Michael 15:04:04 - 2/9/2001 (5071) (1) ● Re: Another in Canyon Country - Dennis Gentry of Santa Clarita 11:49:10 - 2/10/2001 (5080) (0) ● Rain - Michael 14:59:23 - 2/9/2001 (5070) (1) ● Re: Rain - Dennis Gentry of Santa Clarita 12:12:46 - 2/10/2001 (5081) (1) ● Rain - Michael 23:01:41 - 2/11/2001 (5090) (0) ● Here's the loop - Dennis Gentry of Santa Clarita 14:18:24 - 2/9/2001 (5069) (0) |
