Good point, Cathryn. But don't bother. This guy is a nutcase who posts these spurious, fuzzy predictions all the time at sci.geo.earthquakes and elsewhere. He is notable only for his abysmal success rate. In this case, notice his reference to Dec. 2003 earthquakes in California and Iran. Earthquakes of that size (mid-M6 range) occur every few days globally. These just happened to be notable for the high number of fatalities (in Iran), or proximity (California).
