I have to agree with Chris here - It's also true it wasn't in the 'prediction' format.. 111 miles from San Francisco..

When someone says "Very High Risk of San Francisco Earthquake before Tuesday" - and base it on animal counts IN SF - then claim a quake 111 miles away as a hit - one that can't even be felt in SF, is stretching it..

AND the prediction on the site said: Very High Risk of a 5.4 to 5.7 earthquake in the next 4 days !

Big difference from 3.8 to 5.4...

I'd be interested in the probability of a 3.8 hitting within 150 miles of SF in any 5 day period..

Then again - he's not really claiming a hit is he? He just said a quake hit NW of SF...
