Re: Anecdotes Do Not Make A Science

Brian,
Appreciate your reference to Wikipedia. I didn't know that. However, as you must know, these articles are written by folks like you and me. Meanwhile, I see that you have a problem thinking outside of the box. Please send a note to yourself: "I must think for myself." You continue to cite others' work but you seem to lack originality.
Also, I feel strongly about the fact that you do not understand the connection between health and science. Often anecdotal evidence is finally given kudos by scientists who jump on the bandwagon and end up doing research (i.e., on TV you hear the words "antioxidants," "no trans fatty acids," "green tea," etc.) and they end up taking the credit.
Or, in some cases Brian, drugs once approved by the FDA are proven fatal and taken off the market. What do scientists say then? "Ooops, made a mistake." And, I can't resist this one. In disaster films ever notice how the underdog or the scientist who is a maverick always is right? Brian, often fiction mirrors real life.
Callie
