I'll agree with you. If I couldn't live in Colorado, the PNW would be my next choice. I lived in eastern Oregon for a couple of years and loved it. High desert climate with Ponderosa forests nearby. Only problem was living in a really small town with nothing bigger anywhere near us. Xmas shopping from the Sears catalog - yuck.
