Barbara, thanks for all the input. Vancouver WA is #1 on our list of places to move to for retirement, and this August, when the kids are at my mom's and the spouse has two weeks off, guess where we are going to check things out?

Thanks for the nice write up. It will be a lot colder and ranier than I am used to in the winter, but we are going to have to give something up in order for my husband to retire early. Sigh.
