It was a nightmare and I'll never get over it! The shaking was so intense and I didn't think it would ever end. I was just beginning to breathe normally when Big Bear rocked our world. Too much for me. I polished off four Bloody Mary's. That's three more than I ever drink. I then took a nap. In September, when we said adios to the desert, the ground was still moving. We didn't have much damage, thankfully, just a few glasses and a mirror that fell off the wall.

Incidently, Spur volcano in Alaska erupted a day before those quakes. Coincidence?? Probably, but interesting. Sort of like earthquake weather...
