Banda Aceh in Photo Review

Hi Don,

You know how they say a picture is worth a thousand words, National Geographic Magazine has a great web site with photos of what it was like at ground zero. It's hard to imagine losing 250,000 people in short period of time, but maybe if we look back and remember some may understand what Pat Robertson and I have seen in regard to the rapidness of death by tsunami, it might make an impact on urging them to run as fast as they can from any place near water.

Last years 7.2 earthquake off shore of the Mendocino Triple Junction set the warnings in motion and what a mess that was if you will recall. We even have a personal friend who evacuated and went to the hills for an hour and hopefully by now they have straightened out the tsunami evacuation orders.

You know, I should probably send Robertson and e-mail and offer him some solace as I've already been where he is and he might like that. I feel sorry for him. If he's wrong and being a church elder and all, it won't go very well and if he's right it will have a huge emotional impact on him because no matter how many people you tell there are a number who won't know what to do and those who will get trapped some place and can't get out.
