You should bring daughter in suburbia to California and let her enjoy our geology. You could bring her to Mammoth for just that one day and do the volcanic tour. You would love it and I bet she would too. And if she needs a friend to hang out with, she could hang out in LA with my daughter. She's been there for a few months and she knows how to get around. She's the high maintenance type and is hugely funny, but when it comes to earthquakes, she knows the material like the back of her hand. She doesn't hear ear tones but once in a great while, but she's always right on the mark. She's not really interested in ear tones. She'd rather go shopping, get her hair done, buy more makeup than she has room to keep it and listen to music. They could hang and talk about boys.
