Hello Petra...thanks, but I definitely will not go to that meeting. I do like Long Valley though. On the other hand, "daughter in suburbia" is coming west in 2 1/2 weeks for a college tour...UCSB, UC Santa Cruz, maybe Stanford. I'd kind of like to take them on a long day hike AKA "death march" up Little Pine Mountain...I posted on that last year....it was same time of year and lupines and poppies were at their peak. I'd like to take her out to Santa Cruz Island some time...probably has to be 18 to stay at the research center etc...
