I find it amazing that the Bush Administration and FEMA cannot come to grips with the levee problems in the Sacramento Delta. Those levees are threatened by seismic events in the Bay area. Seems like the whole area has to go under water before the Fed government will do anything about it. This is preposterous in light of the recent tragedy in New Orleans. This issue has been discussed on this forum before the governor said anything about it.

Worst Case Scenario;

The delta is loaded with spring run-off, and a 6 to 7 mag quake hits the East Bay area. Mano mano..
