Would love to go, but the 29th is our 34th wedding aniversary, and we will be over in Bull Head City (er...Laughlin). Anyway...that levee problem needs to be taken care of. We used to stay near New Hope Landing in the sixties, and I got around the delta extensively, mostly by boat. Even back then, there was a concern about if they would hold during large spring run offs. I can not believe they are building houses around there. The other problem is the water transfer into southern California. There is so much at stake, that I expect the people in Washington DC to take it more seriously. They have not.
