Have you ever taken the whole route up the coast to Rockport? The ride from the Marin Headlands to just south of Point Arena is my favorite , along with the ride from 10Mile to Rockport....after that one has to choose whether to go inland on 1 or go left and take a gravel road along the loast coast for many, many miles.....very dusty and your rig better be in good shape:-)
