Hi Pat. (Petra) I'm glad you enjoyed yourself. I was more then pleased to
be your escort for the weekend. So was the better half. It got me from
out under her feet for a couple of days. The better half said that if you
Didn’t mind sleeping on the couch you would be more then welcome to stay
with us for the weekend. That way I could take you down to Griswald
Canyon. It would give you a different view of California. This state has a
very tortured history. I don't think you ever have seen an ancient lakebed
that has been turned on its side at a 90-degree angle or rocks that look
like giant petrified sponges. We may be able to find some that you could
take home. That is, if you don't have enough already.
The better half said to be sure that if you do come down to bring your
bathing suit. We could take you down to the hot springs and you could sit
and soak. She's sure it would help ease your back.
I always enjoy your company and I’m more than pleased to take you where you
want to go. I hope I don't embarrass you, but I think people should know a
little about you. They don't know that right now, you have a problem with
driving because of your severe vertigo and your backache from your car
accident, or that a picnic with you is like a trip to the zoo. I've never seen anyone
put cheese on crackers the way you do. They fly all over the place and only if you are
lucky, do you get to eat any of them. Its no wonder you're thin, you have to catch
the food to eat it.
I know this is off the topic of earthquakes, but in many ways it is because
of earthquakes that I have been fortunate enough to meet this little
lady. I graciously ask the site master to leave this post up. Before
anyone starts getting any ideas I want it know right here and now that she
is very dear to me. She has become very close friend. Nothing more,
nothing less. (If I were a younger man and single, well, she'd have to beat
me away with a stick. She may be weird, but in the realm of beauty, for me
I would compare her to a jewel. Her green eyes sparkle when she laughs
and no one looks better in a pair of jeans).

This little lady is a very knowledgeable person. What makes her so unique
is that if she doesn't know something she won't hesitate one bit to tell
you. She will keep asking questions until she gets the answers. She has a
rare quality that is seldom found today. She is extremely honest and very
straightforward. Almost to a fault. She's like a breath of fresh air in
that respect. She also demands the same from the people that know her. If
she doesn't get it they're history although this hasen’t been the case.

She does have some faults though. She is a relentless taskmaster. I
started doing all of her research for her in Jan of 99. If I didn't find
what she wanted she would tell me to look some more until I found it, or
until we came to the conclusion that it was not going to be found.
She has one other fault that bothers me. She is way far to trusting. This
has brought great pain to her in the past. To many times she has trusted
the wrong people. They used her for what they could get from her. They
took advantage of her as a person and not what she had to give. She has a
lot to offer to the right person. Take advantage of what she has to offer,
but don't take an advantage of her.

I hope it doesn't sound like she's looking because she's not and won't be for sometime to come. I just wanted you to know a little about the Pat (Petra) I know. Take Care...Don
