Dr. Vidale--You're putting words into my mouth. I merely said Sieh warned people about a potential deadly disaster in a particular region. Plus, I said when should the public tune in and tune out predictions and/or warnings? We have to pay attention to both because the government isn't going to take care of us when disaster hits.

As I wrote in the book: "Andrew Michael adds that he doesn't believe Sieh would tell you that he knew the earthquake was coming on a certain date. However, through his geological studies, he had looked at sudden uplifts of the ground on coral reefs in the Sumatra region. Plus, when he saw that very large earthquakes happened in the area, he pointed out the fact that it could happen again, and that a tsunami would be a likely result."
