Other boards are getting crowded. As for the parallel 103 and the JDF I would propose to get a 90 day background rate of seismicity in the Vancouver Island area and see if it picks up in response to the Banda Sea incident. But I would also have to do a comparative analysis of the Sumatra 9 and 8.7, and other 7+ events to see if increased seismicity is due to the parallel nature of the FFA ring. The 9+ Sumatra did not parallel the JDF between 102 and 106. I need to establish a control group of data to truly judge it. Let me look at the Canadian data and I will get back. This will take some time, but I will spend the time to look at it.
