Interesting Quake Activity

Hi All. There has been an increase in activity in and around the Bay Area over the last couple of days. Have no idea as to what it means, or that it means anything at all.

There have been quakes on the San Andreas, Vergeles, Green Valley and the Concord faults. It looked like the Rodgers Creek fault was even going to get into the act, but after checking the waveforms I don’t think it will. The waveforms didn’t look like any quake I have ever seen before. Of course if the detector is underwater it may not be functioning correctly.

Nothing unusual about the earthquakes in the Hollister area, nor is there anything unusual about the quakes in the Bay Area, or the geysers. It could be said that the quake in the Ben Lomond area is a little unusual, but it occurred well inside the aftershock zone of the Loma Prieta quake. There was also a swarm of quakes in this area in Dec. 1998, but nothing ever came of them. I guess it’s time for me to sit back put my heels up and watch and see what happens next. I can do that as most of the time I don’t wear a dress. Take Care…Don in creepy town
