Dear Marc,
I enjoyed reading your post about the Berkland Book. I hope you find my book an interesting read. As you can imagine, after the Indian Ocean quake-tsunami hit last year the book became even more challenging and fascinating for me to research and write. Actually, I wrote it in a chatty, first-person narrative. And Berkland plays a big role in the book.
Keep in mind, however, while Mr. Berkland and his eq theories are the primary focus -- I also interviewed other open-minded scientists and progressive thinkers around the world, USGS seismologists, eq sensitives, dream and health experts, great quake survivors, pychics, animal people, and well-known disaster authors. Plus, I provide the reader with plenty of do-it-yourself earthquake prediction tips and disaster preparedness pointers at the end of each chapter.
