Wednesday update |
This morning, secondaries were still active over a wide area. This evening all was quiet. This would normally indicate an event within the next 48 hours within 300 miles of Santa Clarita, Calif. of M3.5 - M5.0. Due to what has been going on over the last week and a half, it is possible that we'll have an event larger then above. As I've mentioned before, these secondaries haven't been all that promising in the area of magnitude determination. But quakes do have to be in the M3.0+ category before any one of them can be activated and M3.5+ to activate most, if not all of them. So lets watch where we are staying away from potentially dangerous structures and the like over the next few days and check on those supplies. Hopefully this is the end of this kind of secondary activity for awhile and that what I experienced this evening was not just a temporary lull. As an aside, my primary is still staying on the quiet side.
