The fault vs the oil tanker |
Soon after I made the previous post the Mate had to deviate off of the fault. He had the choice of that or colliding with an oil tanker (or, at least coming closer than you are allowed). We got right back on the trackline, but the ten mile jog may make it hard to show continuity. Don...the fault at the canyon is between 121 deg 5' 45 deg 15' and 121 7' 34 deg 23'...that is right along the fault (it keeps going either side of those points). I have been to "sleep" and am up again...I'll make a separate post about disfunction and lack of sleep on this cruise...at least mine...
