The Coastal Shove Plus a Few Extra's

Hi All,

Let's try this again. This is yesterday early report of a 3.5, now listed as a 2.73 in the UCB Catalog..not on the map, but not gone:

2005/06/18 03:42:16.55 38.4567 -123.4918 56.15 2.73 ML 43 328 75 0.19
NCSN 51161352

These are the other most recent area quakes, including the 1.3 about 7 miles south of my place, also the newest from Fort Ross and Bolinas has now gotten into the coastal action.

1.3 2005/06/19 02:22:20 38.390N 122.680W 10.2 5 km ( 3 mi) NNE of Rohnert Park, CA
1.2 2005/06/19 02:13:34 38.743N 123.896W 5.0 26 km (16 mi) SW of Point Arena, CA
2.1 2005/06/18 22:36:46 37.938N 122.758W 23.4 7 km ( 4 mi) NW of Bolinas, CA
1.9 2005/06/18 10:13:34 38.393N 123.692W 5.0 41 km (26 mi) WSW of Fort Ross, CA

The latest 5.0 at the Triple Junction is much closer in than the others and I'm wondering if it is going to be a tickler for additional quakes from there to SF.

Don says he a map for the off-shore area around here and he said there are lots of faults, both named and unnamed.

So are we into the Coastal Shove Theory yet or not! I'm still waiting for the Woohoo event here.....dog gone it....it's taking forever.

Petra
