I split my time between a wildlife center and a bird and exotic clinic and I have to say that I have been observing consistent out of the ordinary behavior at both locations. At the wildlife center, I take everything with a grain of salt because it's difficult to predict wild behavior. I am seeing behavior with orphaned wildlife and I am very familiar with their behaviors over the years. I am seeing strange behaviors with both wildlife and birds and exotic behaviors over the past two weeks that makes me wonder if they know something. Who knows? I guess time will tell. I'm in Seattle. Like I said, I have been doing this work for some time and this is a departure from the norm. I wouldn't think much of it if it weren't so different. I work with so many different species that it really called attention to it for me. I actually place more trust in the wild animals that I work with and I have seen behavior in some raptors over the past couple weeks that blows my mind. Who knows. Maybe they are freaked out about something else, but I am around various wild animals all the time and I am telling you, they are behaving differently. All species this week. Just a thought. I'm seeing it at the bird and exotic clinic where I work also which is why I wanted to mention it. It just seems a little out of the ordinary.
