Glen...you may know something that I do not know...but I don't see any quake todat yet S of equator off Sumatra on the USGS-NEIS page, nor do I see this in the news on the web..(yahoo or CNN). So, what quake are you referring to? There was a 4.8 on the 24th at 1.8 deg S but this is just routine after the big swarm in that area... I have not been following the volcanos...
