I was wondering if the 5.2 earthquake which occurred on 6/15/02 happened on the edge of the Borderlands, or within that area. Also historically have the larger magnitude earthquakes which have occurred in that Borderland region been inside the Borderlands to the coast or on the edge of the Borderlands?

And lastly would you attribute earthquakes in the Borderlands region to be a result of seafloor spreading or the northern movement of the Pacific Plate?
