Hi Canie, I'll admit that solar activity has a lot to do with what goes on down here, you can see it in peoples moods, TV, radio transmissions and a whole list of other phenomena. However, I still am hanging on the fence about a ray that comes down from the Sun, which is a considerable distance and lands some place near an earthquake fault and because it was weak, this bit of sunray makes the fault slip. Like you, I'm no expert either, it just seems far out to me. Of course they can detect quarks out from the galaxies, so maybe the solar rays have more than I'm giving pause to. One day, I'm sure we'll know for certain. Keeps us thinking anyway. Pat
