Chris, Let's say you have a brother who lives in Azusa, California and there is a respository in Southern, CA. Since there is no such thing as accurate earthquake prediction, your brother is hopeful that this new repository might be of benefit to him, his family, friends, neighbors and co-workers. He likes everyone and surely wishes no harm to come to any of them. The repository has been in operation for six months and up to now there weren't many reports, but within a few days they receive quite a number of reports which include the following: There is oil seeping out of the San Gabriel mountains at the 500 foot level. It would be unlikely any of the above could be evaluated, but every one of these items are precursors to a large earthquake. If you knew about this preponderance of material would you tell your brother? Or ignore it?
