Nicobar Islands swarm of aftershocks

Anyone have anything interesting to say about today's and yesterday's swarm of M5-6 quakes near 8 deg N...Nicobar islands, aftershocks to M9. ? Why a swarm like this? Has anyone found out where the north end of the rupture was? Here? or 14 deg N?
