I'm sure you're aware the pieces necessary for a prediction -
the area
the magnitude range
the time interval

and this includes specification of which magnitude scale to use.
in order to judge performance, the tests Roger is doing are the first hurdle, but
there are trivial models that can out-perform that particular test, since aftershocks
are clustered in space more that in Roger's model.

What's your opinion, Roger?
