So maybe these strange animal occurences up north or Cathryn's feelings are really a sign of something to come down south instead.

Been watching the area for the past week and there definetly has been an uptick of activity from the offshore faults to the Ventura area to the West LA area. We saw this kind of increase in activity before Northridge and before the 4.2 W. HOllywood quake on 9/9/01. So, with that said I'm throwing my hat into the ring and making a prediction. WIth that said I predict a quake of magnitude 5 or stronger will strike within a 45 mile radius of DOwntown LA Civic Center.

To be even more specific this quake will be in the Ventura or Santa Clarita area or in the area near Thousand Oaks and Malibu and offshore. Time frame is within the next 2 weeks.
