Re: congratulations Cathryn - it looks like you won Petra's Ca 5 EQ contest

Wow. Thanks.

Just yesterday I was feeling a little down about my participation on this board. Everyone else was joking about vestigial tails, having 24 fingers and toes, and living in caves with assault rifles, but nary a response to any of my like-minded quips.

To make matters worse, two days ago I sent Canie a "thank you" for making this board a more productive and less hostile board, and she retorted, " hmmm - some other lurker sent me a thank you yesterday..."

*Other* lurker? I don't lurk; I participate, as a quick scan of the present board will indicate. I was beginning to feel a bit persona non grata here until your post.

Could my recent monster tone have anything to do with this Nev. quake? Though not the correct distance, could distance vary with me as does direction? If so, I am an anomaly (Just ask anyone...), but perhaps we ear- tone people count to the beat of a different time piece. There is a woman on Syzygy, Priscilla in WA, whose tones don't fit the 37.5 distances per minute either, but she is perhaps the most reliable ear tone predictor I've ever encountered.

Thanks, again, Steve. I'd forgotten about that particular contest.
