Re: Drum Roll For Cathryn - A True Winnner! |
Thanks, Petra. As for the CD, I wouldn't dream of asking you to pony up. You are a working woman with her hands full, whereas I live a comfortable life with my hands full. Your acknowledgement and congratulations are all the kudos I need. So save your time and money. I'll go out and buy Handel's "Messiah" on my own dime. "Rocket City" did very well, and I am thankful. It has been a best seller in France and Fr. Switzerland, as well as in the Germanic-speaking countries. It also did very well in its paperback release here in English from Random House (Vintage Contemporaries, an oxymoron if ever there was one). It's the thought that counts, so you're off the hook. I'm just glad that my intuition came through again, although my last prediction for a 3.5 near San Berdino missed by a tenth of a point (though the one before it was right on). C'est la vie. Et merci. Now, as for foreign languages, Don, I think you should switch from that wimpy Corona to my newest discovery, Negra Modelo. Yes, the gender correspondence is irregular in Spanish, but the beer is dark, smooth, and my new favorite. Might help with those predictions of yours. :-) Cathryn Follow Ups: ● Re: Drum Roll For Cathryn - A True Winnner! - Cathryn 08:40:05 - 9/19/2004 (22922) (0) |
