If you won't set reasonable limits, let's see if the members of this board are willing to do so.

EQF lives to see his own words (mostly gibberish) in print. The man who hasn't so much as three live-saving words for Californians he thinks are in imminent peril sure can spew a bunch of copious nonsense in this forum *because you let him get away with it.*

I own four lists and moderate six, and if ANY member of my boards got this out of line, he would be toast.

I am still considering leaving Earthwaves, and I don't expect to ever receive from you an answer to my first question above, but please, spare us any more of EQF or whatever his moniker of the day.

List mates: This man has made a mockery of this board for years, and I've been on it since 1999. I'm not the only one sick of it. Instead of leaving immediately, I am asking, instead, that you members sick to death of EDG's narcissism not respond to any more of his preposterous, time-wasting drivel. When this happens, he ends up responding to his own messages, which is eminently more amusing than anything he has to say (thus serving John's priorities), but in the end, pathetic.

So, friends, let's let him chat with himself till his earthquakes come and he is responsible (if his forecasting methods hold water, which I don't believe they do) for the deaths of more thousands of people than he has already admitted NOT WARNING when he was sure a devastating earthquake was impending.

It's high time someone took a stand on this issue. Human lives are potentially at stake, or so he would have us believe.

I am prepared to walk away from Earth Waves, and from the looks of things, it seems others are willing to also. Perhaps we could start up our own
*scientific/lay person willing to admit s/he is not in the know* list by membership only, and that membership should be carefully monitored.

In the meantime, he will probably stay here and on all the other boards he pollutes. Or, he can start his own board. I have the perfect title: Earth Knaves.
