John V, Is Fontana in KB's Prediction Area?

Hi John,

I saw these quakes arrive and I wondered if Fontana is in KB's prediction area? Not that these would be what he is looking for, but rather some activity prior to?

I wanted to say something about KB's attitude on the public end of things. He is not a young man by any means, which sets him aside from the way things are done today. The rapid information age, though he can embrace it, I would imagine he might not necessarily like the way it arrives.

He is of the old school from a place which is entirely unlike our own. We can't even relate to the life he has lived. Russians have always had a hard time over one issue to the next, so to place this dear soul in our rapid paced world and expect him to embrace our attitudes about serious science I think may not be his way of doing things. I could be wrong, but I doubt it.

When I visited your place to see Knopoff he showed me a room with computers and he really didn't care that much for them. Though young at heart, he did not much care for modern things.

Petra
