Hi Chris - that sure sounds interesting! I used to attend a paleo-climate conference - I volunteered for about 5 years with logistics and very much enjoyed their talks and presentations on past climate changes and various methods to determine what the climate had been.

Are you keeping an eye out for Tsunami deposits at the same time in those cores?
