Canie, I won't be looking at the cores (beyond glancing at them)..others will do that. I don't think this location would be a good places to look for tsunami deposits....it is under 120 to 160 m of water now, and effects of tsunamis during low stands of sealevel would likely not be preserved. the sediments that are preserved were likely deposited in deeper water, so I don't think you could easily identify tsunami deposits. Even if you could, it would not be much use...it would just say that there had been tsunamis, but would say nothing about the effect on a coastline. Chris
