Hi Jim,

I've tried to express to Don what a good teacher he is by sharing what he knows with those on Syz as well as here. At times it does take a lot of patience when people just post to hear the sound of their own voices when those voices are not saying anything about the topic at hand. Of course we all go off topic at times and we should because we're human, but when you are trying to say something important about earthquakes or prediction and you are drowned out by chem trail reports, UFO's and some other bit that is not related, well it makes you want to turn on the boob tube and throw in the towel.

Yesterday I called SBC regarding my bill and got into a good conversation with a very nice young man about earthquakes. He lives in San Diego and was quite sure that Vladimir Keilis-Borok's prediction was going to occur. He mentioned earthquake weather and said they had enjoyed much of it lately. That's a curious thing because so many people say the same thing, yet there doesn't seem to be any definitive relationship between quakes and weather.

Then we hit on earthquake safety and PSA's. He fully supported PSA's and thought it unwise not to air them because everyone would benefit from them. He too did not know that running out of a grocery store or any other store was not a good idea nor that staying free from a stampede in a shopping mall was something everyone should know. In the end, he was close to my heart when he expressed that though some earthquakes could be frightening, he actually loved the earthquake experience. I am not alone out here. LOL

And for those who do not read here very often, let me say again, the safest place in a home is in the hallway. If you don't put heavy pictures on the walls its the only place where something cannot fall on you.

And thanks to the recent TV program locally on earthquakes people are now buying earthquake insurance again.

So Don, get the lead out and get back to Syz, they need you.
