This quake is 500 km (>300 miles) west of the location that you predicted. I can't say whether getting a M5 in a short time window within an area the size of California is significant or not-I guess that is up to Roger. If it was California, I'd say it was an interesting prediction. But, I think relative plate motion is faster near Java (I did not check this), so more M5 quakes....I won't do it, but maybe I ought to try and run up a record of predictions by looking at areas that have been active in the last days, weeks, months, predicting quakes in those areas, and see what Roger's programs do with that (see if I can beat long-term chance).(I'm not implying that this is what you are doing-I don't know).
