Team Here is aa chance to look at predictability for one aspect of a quake: whether it is above or below the Equator (assuming this is the approximate latitude of the GEOS 10 and 12 satellites). We have had a long interval in the second graph of the blue line above the red, and there has been a run of 5M quakes above the Equator. The lines have now been reversed. Will the quake location be similarly reversed. I suggest that this might be a simpler way to determine quake predictability, starting with the quake. Such a study would of course be short term, but that is the interval warning services for imminent quakes would use. Note: I am not talking here about the preventive aspects of hazard warning.
