Chris I read but don't always understand. Thanks for simplifying. The electron graph does seem so be usefully directional, e.g. the blue line was above the red, and there was a 5.7M quake in the northern mid-Atlantic. The current question I am raising is whether the geomag storms suppress quake activity. While the CA/NV past week total did rise earlier in the week, it is now going down. Granted, this number is influenced with quakes going off the list as going on, but it does give a large number to work with.
