Earthquake forecasting politics are presently the main problem

I have been both examining my own precursor data and talking with other forecasters around the world regarding that Iran earthquake.

My data indicate to me that there were clear warning signals generated before it occurred. I myself found one going back six months in time. It was detected at:

2003/06/30 12:24:00 UTC

If those signals were in fact linked with that earthquake then it means that it could have been accurately predicted as much as a half year or more before it occurred.

These are some "Earthquake Cloud" images collected by another researcher:

I am fully convinced that we now have a variety of technologies available which are capable of detecting approaching earthquakes such as that one. One of the main problems appears to me to be a lack of a good sense of direction within the scientific community regarding this subject matter. Deadly earthquakes are not being predicted because of politics rather than a lack of accurate forecast data.

What I am now planning to do is begin working on seeing if we can make faster progress by dealing with some of those earthquake forecasting politics problems.

These are personal opinions.
