6.5 7 mi NE of San SImeon, CA.

This seems like a rare location for this earthquake.
The aftershocks are going southeast towards Atascadero.

Gary and I visited the Hearst Castle on our honeymoon and stayed at the Madonna Inn near San Luis Obispo. I hope that we will be able to see these sights again despite any damage from the quake.

We did not feel anything in La Quinta, CA. However, we almost moved to Cambria instead earlier this month.
