Actually, I believe there have been a number of small eqs at this site in the last couple of years.

We here in Aptos (12 mi. S of Santa Cruz) felt nothing. We had five of us in the house, and nothing moved. Interestingly, I had "fun-tacked" some valuables, just because I found some of the sticky stuff in a drawer.

My husband at work in Scott's Valley (NE of SC) felt a rolling motion, while a friend in S.W. San Jose felt a jolt. The news says some people felt it in SF.

I have a fan, Jean Brody, who owns a bookstore in Cambria. I've never met her, but I hope she is okay.

Seems most of the energy is going south. Just had two M3's near Bakersfield and Gorman. I would NOT want to be in L.A. right now. 90 minutes of rolling?

Paso Robles is trashed.

As for my poo-pooing a Christmas Day EQ, it isn't Cristmas Day.

I may have another precursor, and that is insomnia. I haven't slept since Sunday morning. That has happened twice before.

Don, how far is Cambria from Aptos, and how far is Westwood from Sylmar?

Very glad no one so far has been killed.

Cathryn
