Boy, oh Boy!

It's been 3 1/2+ years since I had a cold, right? So, what's the odds I would get one just before the century goes bye-bye and the new one comes in? Have no idea. But it means I will be sitting right here and not going anywhere. Which, I figure, is just what God Almighty wants of me. Why? I have no idea. But that's fine with me...given how I am now feeling.

Still, but, however, this is a funny cold. It began in the left side of my nose, has stayed there and is effecting my left forehead area...confusing the life out of me in terms of pressure. I mean C got pressurized. Then RB. Then center of the forehead. Then back over to the left. Do I count them as EQ PRs? I think not, but what if the purpose is to confuse me and the issue?

There are no PRs to add or delete from the above list. Only RB and TL can throw great quakes at the moment...according to the history of the PRs. This will change as we get into January, but, for now, it's RB or TL. Except, the Aleutians could get a +6.5 if out there at the tip, but I have not had, I don't think, strong enough itching to indicate we'll see this quake.

Whatever, the new century is working its way around the world to us in the US. So far, so good Y2Kwise. So far, so good in human behavior. Even the high-jackers have settled for three "bad guy" releases and letting their charges go. Surprisingly, Yeltsen resigns as of today and turns the keys to their nukes over to his appointee. Their market surges 10.54%. Humm...

Then there is our weather which has been clear, cool at night and warm during the day. But no more. The coastal marine layer has worked its way in and promises, according to the weather people, to dampen the Rose Parade tomorrow. In the meanwhile, it feels funny outside with not a leaf moving.

So folks, that's it from this end. Hope everyone has a safe, warm and inspiring New Years. No drinking and driving now. Play it safe and, while you are at it, you might just thank God for all His blessings in your lives.

Diane
